Derryc nodded to Elian ut was soon much more excited by the flit with the other boy than her. Hr was trying to be mean, he was just being a young boy. "Yah, i want one two. A bronze one. So when i 'm big and i Impres a bronze i can hav a little bronze and a big bronze." He said excitedly. Because he was going to Impress a Bronze, he'd always planned on it and he knew he could. "So do you ever get to ride on your mother's green?" He asked curiously. Anything to do with dragons fascinated him.
F'leyen reached out to help with the baskets. "Good to meet you Renni. He said pleasantly, taking two of the baskets while allowing the two women two finish discussing whaever it was that they were discussing. He hoped that he and Derryc weren't too much trouble for the cook. Derryc thought hard, "I like almost anything. Bubblies o' course. But mainly i just don't like tubers. So no tubers please." He asked hopefully.

Elske wasn't about to say anything to the contrary.Little boys always wanted Bronzes, for her part she only wanted them for a little while. Bronzers bored her. "I'm sure you'd make a fine Bronzerider Derryc, but you know, Bronzeriders have to act like gentlemen all the time." Elryn made an icky, why would I want to do that face.
"I'd rather ride a green, or a blue, or even a brown like my father." In his young opinion, he'd rather have fun and not have so much responsibility. "Isleith is a nice green but mother only lets us ride with her on too. She says she's afraid I'll fall out the straps midair." Elian rolled her eyes. She'd rather not discuss it. She wanted to do something quiet with her life. Not something either boy would understand.
Renni smiled at the young blue weyrling, though not seductively. She was interested in women more than men. Not that it mattered as much here at the Weyr. She was lucky in her friends and her position. "Ahh no tubers then my lad. And a couple extra bubbly pies. The rest will be a suprise." Elske took the other two baskets from Renni with a quick wink as she walked away from the kitchens, knowing the children would follow.
